STANDARD EQUIPMENT
- The control panel situated at the machine in-feed can be moved to an ergonomic position.
- Protection cabinet on the gluing area and finishing units with polycarbonate windows for inspection during machining.
- The machine base is made of bent and welded steel that ensures high the rigidity of the structure.
- Panel support roller conveyor placed outside the chain track on the entire machine length with a telescopic opening system and sliding wheels made of plastic with rotating pins made of steel.
- Feeding chain track made of industrial chain with high grip rubber coated pads. The chain track pads slide on two steel guides, one with a circular section and one with a flat section, to guarantee feed straightness and resistance to lateral loads. Manual lubrication of the pads.
- Upper-pressure beam with two rows of wheels mounted on ball bearings and guards to cover the wheels.
Manual raising of the pressure beam and automatic positioning of the upper working units with a change in panel thickness.
Bottom units are fixed on the bottom chain track beam for precise reference concerning the panel.
All high-frequency motors are powered by a static frequency converter (inverter).
Suction hoods of operating units are placed on the upper side of the protection cabinet. - The thickness of the select panel is shown by numerical readout at the machine in-feed.
Electric and safety system
The electrical system is placed inside the machine base with a door that allows easy access for the operator.
Machine according to current safety regulations.
Control system “MEGA 120”
Numerical control is placed at the machine entry in an ergonomic position for the operator.
Functions:
– 4” graphic display with large and luminous characters.
– selection of language.
– On/off push buttons operating units with “soft” buttons and luminous status LED.
– Complete management of the machine automation by PLC and encoder placed on the panel feed chain track pinion.
– Display for programming and control of the working temperature.
– Simple and guided diagnostic for quick solution of errors.
– Partial and absolute, statistical processing data: number of processed pieces, edge used, and track feeding.
OPERATING UNITS
Pre-milling unit "TR/K1"
This unit, positioned before the gluing unit, allows the pre-milling of the panel edge to obtain an optimum gluing surface.
– 2 cutters equipped with automatic timed intervention to avoid damaging the panel, mounted on two high-frequency motors.
– suction hoods for chips
– timed air blower for cleaning the processed side
– variable removal adjusting the in-feed fence using the knob and numerical readout.
– tools with height adjustment to vary the cutting point
– equipped with a pair of diamond tools H= 49 n° 2 cutting edges (D= 100 H=49 Z= 2+2). Working panel height 45 mm.
Note: This unit is only available in configurations where the model name contains the letter “R”.
Gluing unit, edge in-feeding and pressing "GP/200"
Unit for automatic gluing with hot melt glue of edges in coil and strips on straight panels.
Gluepot
– Independent motorization for continuous recirculation and recovery of the glue.
– anti-adherent treatment to facilitate glue replacement and maintenance.
– glue spreading roller with special ribbing to ensure homogeneous and optimized glue spreading.
– glue temperature is controlled by a digital thermo-regulator
– double glue temperature adjustment for management of two different working temperatures
– glue pot temperature with the automatic lowering machine has not been used for a while.

Edge in-feeding

The unit allows precise cutting of the edging overhanging the front and rear of the panel.
– Two high-frequency motors
– Sliding of two motors on THK prismatic guides with ball runner blocks.
– Copying device for precise adjustment of the blade cutting point
– The pneumatic inclination of blades 0 ÷ 15° from the control panel
– Complete of blades.
Trimming unit “TT/K”
The unit allows trimming of excess edging at the top and bottom of the panel.

– copying device for adjustment of a cutting point on the panel. Vertical revolving copying devices and frontal copying pads

– System with two pneumatic positions for positioning the unit from control panel

Rounding unit “ROUND A/1”
The unit allows automatic rounding of plastic edges on the front and rear angle of straight panels and with radius (see processing schemes)

Unit to eliminate from the edges plastic notches left from the tools during the trimming phase

– Copying devices for adjustment of cutting point of the tool on the panel
